Seeking clients and community to join Yooralla’s Lived Experience Advisory Panel
Join Yooralla’s Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP) to share your knowledge and experiences to help improve our services and organisational culture.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from current and previous Yooralla clients, family members and the wider disability community to join Yooralla’s Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP).
Since being established in 2023, LEAP participants have shared their knowledge and experiences to help improve Yooralla’s services and organisational culture.
Participants have provided valuable input to:
- develop Yooralla’s Good Life framework, including providing feedback on what a Good Life means to them, and supporting with research and conducting surveys.
- review and develop and new Yooralla Client Charter of Rights and Responsibilities.
- provide feedback on Yooralla’s Practice framework.
As well as the support offered to Yooralla, LEAP has also provided an opportunity for members to raise disability and service issues important to them and to provide peer support to each other.
If you are a current or previous Yooralla client, family member or part of the wider disability community and would like to contribute, we want to hear from you! All applications will be considered.
Interested parties can print and complete the expression of interest form or complete the form online. You can also access the Terms of Reference for more information.
Members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, LGBTQIA+ and Culturally Diverse Disability communities are especially encouraged to apply to provide their unique perspectives on improving Yooralla’s services.
