Explore employment opportunities for people with disability
Do you or someone you know have a disability and want to learn more about employment and opportunities for people with disability to participate in the workforce?
We are holding a series of information sessions with international expert Sara Murphy, the Senior Training Associate for TransCen, Inc. – an American non-profit organisation dedicated to improving education and employment success of youth and young adults with disability.
Sara will discuss how disability providers, people with disability and their support network should work together to teach critical skills, build meaningful lives and put people on the road to employment success.
The two information sessions tailored to job seekers and their families will empower attendees with new ideas for advocating for themselves and their loved ones and easy-to-use tools for finding not just a job, but the right job. Even if you've always thought that getting a job would be impossible due to your disability, this session is for you.
