Sweet surprise brings Easter joy to Leongatha Community Hub
The Easter spirit came alive at the Leongatha Community Hub as clients were treated to a delightful surprise courtesy of the Commonwealth Bank Warragul branch.
The air was filled with joy and gratitude as the Hub received a generous delivery of mouthwatering chocolate Easter eggs, bringing smiles to the clients’ faces!
This heartwarming gesture was made possible through the Commonwealth Bank Staff Social and Charity Club Easter charitable project. Dedicated to spreading cheer and goodwill, staff members contribute to the initiative by paying a club membership fee of $1 per week. These collective contributions are then pooled and distributed to various charities and not-for-profit organisations.
Yooralla was lucky enough to be selected as one of the beneficiaries for this year's Easter project. For the clients of the Leongatha Community Hub, the delivery of Easter eggs wasn't just about indulging in sweet treats - it was a reminder that they are valued members of their local community.
As Easter approaches, let us take inspiration from initiatives like the Commonwealth Bank Staff Social and Charity Club Easter project. It serves as a reminder that even small gestures of kindness can go a long way in brightening someone's day and making the world a better place for all.
