World Physiotherapy Day (8 September) is a great opportunity to showcase our clients’ great achievements and the amazing work that physiotherapists do for their clients and the community.
Andrew has been working with Yooralla Physiotherapist, Julia, to improve mobility and movement and with her support, plus the support of a Mustang walker, Andrew is on the move!
“[Having access to physiotherapy] has meant a lot to us”, says Junyan, Andrew’s mum.
“It led us to an improved quality of life. It addressed mobility issues, such as difficulty walking or moving limbs, and provided strategies and exercises to improve mobility.”
“Working with Yooralla has been a transformative experience for our family. I would like to thank Julia Crosswell, the assistance she provided us was invaluable.”
“Their services have been a lifeline for us. It's truly inspiring to witness Andrew’s growth.”
“Yooralla has been instrumental in helping us set and achieve meaningful goals for Andrew. We're excited about the future and what he can accomplish!”

Working as a Physiotherapist at Yooralla
Reflecting on her work with young clients, Julia says the most rewarding aspects of her job are working with resilient families, seeing her clients make great progress and providing skills that can help young people right throughout their lives.
“I like meeting resilient families who work so hard to provide the best opportunities for their children and seeing children make the most amazing progress with regular guidance from their therapist and hard work from their families.”
“Knowing that you can make a real difference in the life of a young person with the skills and knowledge that you’ve gathered over your career is rewarding.”
“I love seeing the progress over a period of time and looking back to see where they’ve come from!”
