A “heartwarming and sumptuous affair” courtesy of our Hospitality clients
The Gippsland community were treated to “a heartwarming and sumptuous affair” at the revered Moo's Restaurant in Meeniyan, courtesy of Yooralla’s advanced Hospitality team.
The Hospitality team from Yooralla’s Leongatha Community Hub, in collaboration with Moo's, orchestrated a sold-out, community-driven evening that left a lasting impression on everyone who attended.
“It wasn’t just about the food, it was about creating and unforgettable experience for the guests,” said Sharon, Service Manager at Leongatha Hub.
Behind the scenes, Yooralla's hospitality team, in close collaboration with Marty, the gracious owner of Moo's, spent several months meticulously planning and executing the evening.
“It wasn’t just about the food, it was about creating and unforgettable experience for the guests,” said Sharon, Service Manager at Leongatha Hub.
Guests were treated to a three-course masterpiece, that was designed by the team to be “a symphony for the tastebuds.”
There was an array of enticing entrees to start, followed by two mouth-watering main course options…but how to choose between inlet flake fillet with velvety cauliflower puree and a medley of mixed leaves, or the hearty beef bourguignon, accompanied by local potato mash and steamed greens?
“It's a good problem to have, to be honest!” said Annick, Assistant Service Leader at the Hub.
The hard decisions didn’t stop there, with a meringue nest with whipped creamed and spiced berries competing with an indulgent chocolate pannacotta, partnered with red wine pear for dessert.
“The delectable choices left everyone in desert coma,” said the clients.
This event marks the third time Marty and the team at Moo’s opened the doors to let our Hospitality team take over the restaurant and kitchen. It's a testament to the strong ties that Yooralla shares with its community businesses, and the unwavering support our local community provides.
